Stella Poghosyan

Instructor

Stella Poghosyan, an ESL instructor, has been teaching English for over nine years, and during these years, she gained working experience with school children and adults. She started her career as a volunteer teacher. Now, she is an EFL instructor at the American University of Armenia, Open Education, dealing with a wide range of age groups.

Stella holds a Bachelor's degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from Vanadzor State University and a Master's Degree in English Language and Literature from the same university.

She adores investigating language structure, writing scientific papers, and participating in conferences; thus, she has publications based on grammar and literature. Stella is not only fluent in English but also Russian and French. She believes that the more languages you know, the more of a person you are, and like Goethe said: "He who knows no foreign language knows nothing of his mother tongue".

Teaching is Stella's second nature. She believes that a good teacher can bring out the utmost potential in each student and devotes her time and life to making the world a better place by teaching English.
