Sona Gevoryan is a multimedia and investigative journalist specializing in narrative reporting, data journalism, and video production. Her work focuses on telling impactful human stories through rigorous reporting, strong investigative methods, and compelling storytelling.A Fulbright Scholar and graduate of Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, she brings international experience and a commitment to ethical, public-interest journalism. Her work has been recognized with an award from Investigative Reporters and Editors (IRE) for excellence in investigative reporting.
She has led cross-platform investigative projects, collaborated on multimedia reporting initiatives, and mentored emerging journalists. Currently, she serves as an Adjunct Lecturer at American University of Armenia, where she teaches journalism and media-related courses. Her passion lies in producing stories that inform, inspire, and contribute to a deeper understanding of the world.
