Bio
I am specialized in the theory of historiography, civilization theory, and the historical problems of Armenian and global commercial capital during the pre-industrial and industrial eras. I have taught a wide range of courses including Historiography of Modern History, Theory of World History, Contemporary Issues in the Profession, History and Culture Interactions in Modernity, Theory and History of Civilizations, Modern Information Technologies and Culture, Roman Heritage and European Community, and History of US at various institutions.
My latest monograph is "The Annales School and the Forms of Historiography"; (Printinfo and Sargis Khachents Publishing House, Yerevan, 2022). I am the author of "History of Armenia: 7th Grade Textbook" (Yerevan: "Participatory School"; Educational Foundation, 2023) and co-author of "History of Armenia: 8th Grade Textbook" (Yerevan: "Participatory School"; Educational
Foundation, 2024).
My research articles have been published in several scholarly journals, including the VEM Pan- Armenian Journal, the Journal of the Society for Armenian Studies, The Armenian Review,
Annual (Faculty of Economy), Kanteghe, "Annual: Historical Journal”, and other academic publications.
