Seyran Sargsyan currently holds the position of CEO of UBPay Armenian Payment System since February, 2024. He previously held senior positions in the Union of Banks of Armenia, several commercial banks in Armenia and in the United States, and in important financial infrastructures. His professional activities cover the areas related to private and financial sector development, banking, and financial markets. He also has extensive teaching experience both in Armenia and the United States. He has taught various graduate and undergraduate mathematics and finance courses.
