Sarine Margossian

Admissions Counselor

Hello, my name is Sarine Margossian and I was born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon. I graduated from the University of Saint-Joseph in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in French Literature. Before moving to my homeland this year and becoming an admissions counselor at AUA, I was a dedicated and enthusiastic French teacher for 10 years at Arslanian College in Lebanon. I have always brought positivity and inspiration to my students’ lives and I look forward to motivate and guide our future applicants. As an educator, I want to help students meet their fullest potential by providing a safe, risk-taking, and collaborative environment.
I have spent most of my childhood dancing to the harmonious and euphonic melodies of Sayat Nova, Komitas and Parsegh Ganatchian. Armenian folkloric dance and culture will always be / remain an essential part of my life.
Other than teaching and dancing, I also enjoy reading, cooking, listening to music and watching movies.
