Robert Sukiasyan

Adjunct Lecturer

Robert Sukiasyan’s primary research interests include genocidal deportations, particularly those carried out during the Armenian Genocide, memory, oral history, survivor testimonies, cartography and digital humanities. He has received his Dr. Philosophy Degree in history from the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute (Armenia), Master’s degree in International Relations/Genocide Studies from Yerevan State University (Armenia) and Bachelor’s degree in Art History from Yerevan State University (Armenia). He was a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at the Promise Armenian Institute at UCLA (2021-2022) and Fellow at the Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies at Harvard University (2021-2022). He has authored seven articles in peer-reviewed journals such as “Journal of Genocide Studies”, “Ēǰmiatsin amsagir”, “Handes Amsorya”, “Herald of the Social Sciences”, etc.
