Bio
I specialize in Armenian Language, Literature, and Translation. I hold a Master’s Degree in Armenian Philology from Yerevan State University and a Graduate Degree in Translation from the American University of Armenia. As a researcher and data linguist, I participated in the Universal Dependencies treebank projects for Eastern Armenian and Western Armenian. I served as an assistant to the President of the Language Committee of the Republic of Armenia, where I also studied language policies in different countries. I have edited various manuals, textbooks, and reports. My research interests lie in the fields of translation theory and practice, in particular, the translation of theoretical texts, and the formation of legal terminology in Armenian.
