I am a Medical Doctor (MD), and I hold a Doctor of Management (DM), an MBA, a Masters of International Management, a Masters of Technology Entrepreneurship, and a Masters in Clinical Biochemistry & Microbiology. I am also a Professional Certified Marketer by the American Marketing Association.
I have been teaching at the University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) for 11 years; where I am a full-time Graduate Collegiate Professor at the School of Business, and the Course Mentor (Head) of the MBA Marketing Department. I teach Global Business Management, Global Marketing, Marketing Management, Marketing Innovation, and Global Strategy. I also have an extensive worldwide marketing training experience in the medical diagnostics industry.
I have worked as General Manager for Alcon Labs running their operation in Saudi Arabia; Global Marketing Manager for Pharmaceutical Solutions Industry, a JV between Saudis and Fresenius Kabi; Product Manager for Abbott Laboratories in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Germany; Lab Pathologist at King Fahd Hospital in Saudi Arabia; and Pharmaceuticals & Biotechnology Consultant at the United Nations Development Programme, both in Cairo and Rome.
