Mihran Aroian is an entrepreneur and teacher. Mr. Aroian is an Assistant Professor at the McCombs College of Business at the University of Texas at Austin in the Department of Management. As an entrepreneur, he has been involved in several start-up companies in Armenia and the US.  Most recently, he was an iGorts fellow with the National Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship building a technology transfer center under the RA Ministry of Economy.  Mr. Aroian spent five years in the venture capital industry working for one of the largest venture capital firms in the USA – Austin Ventures. In his spare time, Mr. Aroian performs regularly with the Allandale String Quartet, works with several non-profit organizations, and is chairman of the Armenian Church of Austin.
