MA in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from American University of Armenia, MFA in Acting from New York University, BA in Theatre Arts from Brown University.

I have been privileged to have been teaching and learning from my students at AUA since 2003. I served as Chair of the BA in English & Communications Program from 2013-2017 and am happy to have maintained my connection with AUA while living in Copenhagen, Stockholm, and now Warsaw. My interests include theatre, music, and the sociocultural aspects of language learning and teaching. At AUA I have taught Freshman Seminar 1 & 2, Introduction to the Structure of English, Discourse Analysis, and Introduction to Acting Techniques in the undergraduate program, and Introduction to Language in MATEFL. I have has also worked as a translator/editor, actor, and human rights defender.
