Maro Aghazarian

Adjunct Lecturer

Maro Aghazarian holds M.S. and B.S. degrees in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, during which she gained some experience working at the Center for Plasma-Material Interactions and Oak Ridge National Lab. She worked as a specialist and then a leading specialist in analyzing thermal-hydraulic processes at the Nuclear and Radiation Safety Center for 5+ years, performing computational fluid dynamics analysis when she was awarded the European Nuclear Safety Training and Tutoring Institute Merritt Award for best trainee by the European Commission Instrument for Nuclear Safety Cooperation. She has also served occasionally as an Adjunct Lecturer at the American University of Armenia since 2015, where she taught general education courses.
