Manyak Mutafyan studied at Gyumri State Pedagogical Institute and graduated with a diploma of excellence. After getting qualification as a Math teacher in 1999, she got PHD in “Mechanics of a deformed solid body” in 2003. In 2005 she gained a scientific degree of a candidate of science in Physic-mathematics. In 2009 got the status of an Assistant Professor.
Since 1999 she has started her journey in college Photon as a math teacher. Since then she had many students participating in local and international Olympiads and recorded scientific results. In 2005 she has joined Gyumri State Pedagogical Institute in the department of Higher Mathematics and Methodology of Teaching Mathematics. In addition, she is currently employed in AUA Open Education in Gyumri as SAT exam preparation tutor.
She has the experience of teaching for over 24 years. During this period, she taught several group of students, including middle and high school, undergraduate and graduate students. At the institute she is teaching Elementary Math and Problem Solution Practice, Math Teaching Methodology, Theory of Number, Methods of teaching math at elementary school, Additional chapters of elementary Mathematics.
In the September of 2015 she was awarded with Honorary Rank of distinguished educator of Armenia (Yerevan NG-673-A).
In her aspect of scientific interests are Mechanics of a solid body, Dynamics of Micropolar Bars, Methods of Teaching Math, Theory of Numbers.
She is the author of more than 10 math articles, published in Armenia and abroad.
