Hovhannes Dashtoyan, Ph.D.

Since 2008, Hovhannes has been gaining experience in sciences, practical engineering, and teaching. He participated in various research projects in the following institutions: Yerevan Scientific Research Institute of Communications (2008), Laboratory of Micro- and Nanoelectronics at NPUA (2014-15), Institute of Synchrotron Research CANDLE (2014-15), Institute of Radiophysics and Electronics of NAS of Armenia (2018-20), Institute of Physical Research of NAS of Armenia (2021-present). Hovhannes is the Responsible engineer of “STEP: Motion Research Laboratory” (Gait Lab) at Wigmore Clinic Yerevan (2017-present). 

In 2017-18, he was an Assistant Lecturer at the National Polytechnic University of Armenia in the Department of Microelectronics and Biomedical Devices, Faculty of Cybernetics. As of the Spring 2020 semester, he was recruited first as a Teaching Assistant and then as an Adjunct Lecturer in Circuits and Embedded Systems in the Engineering Science program at AUA. His research interests include ferroelectric materials and semiconductors, microelectronics and nanotechnology, biomedical engineering, etc.
