Dr Tomáš Lichard, Ph.D

Adjunct lecturer

Dr Tomáš Lichard has served as an adjunct lecturer at the American University of Armenia since 2023. Currently, he is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Informatics and Statistics of the Prague University of Economics and Business, and a CERGE-EI Teaching Fellow. Dr Lichard’s area of research is empirical public and labor economics, and applied microeconomics. He has also served as an expert in the public sector, such as the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Czech Republic, and as an OECD local expert. As a researcher, he has been affiliated with the University of Pennsylvania and the Czech Academy of Sciences. 

He holds dual doctorate degree from the Charles University in Prague and the University of the State of New York.
