Sevak Alaverdyan, Ph.D.

Assistant Professor

Dr. Sevak Alaverdyan received his Ph.D. degree in Economics from Bielefeld Graduate School of Economics and Management (BiGSEM) of Bielefeld University (Germany). Dr. Sevak Alaverdyan has served as an adjunct lecturer at the American University of Armenia since 2018. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor at the Manoogian Simone College of Business and Economics and a Teaching Fellow at CERGE-EI Prague. His research interests are primarily in the areas of Labour Economics and Job Search and Matching Theory. Prior to joining AUA, he completed multiple teaching and research projects for regional offices of WHO and CDC, Ministry of HTI of RA, etc.
