Artur Sahakyan, PhD

Adjunct Lecturer

Artur Sahakyan has been a lecturer at AUA since 2019. He teaches Calculus 3 and Real Analysis. He received his Ph.D. from the Mathematical Institute of the Academy of Sciences of USSR, Moscow, in 1981.

In 1981 to 2004, Dr. Sahakyan was a scientific worker at the Institute of Mathematics of the Armenian National Academy of Sciences. Since 1981, he has been teaching at the Yerevan State University. Since 2008, Artur Sahakyan has been the Dean of the faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics at Yerevan State University.

He has been a corresponding member of the Armenian National Academy of Sciences since 2006. Dr. Sahakyan's research interests are in Function Theory, Approximations, Harmonic Analysis, and Statistics.
