Arev Mazloumian

Visiting Lecturer

Arev Mazloumian is a Registered Dietitian and Public Health Nutritionist. She holds a BS degree in Nutrition and Dietetics Coordinated Program and an MS degree in Public Health Nutrition from the American University of Beirut (AUB). She completed a supervised dietetic internship at the American University of Beirut Medical Center. Throughout her academic journey, Arev was engaged in research and teaching as a Graduate Fellow at AUB. Over the past two years, she has been working on the School Feeding Program in Armenia with the aim of creating a sustainable school nutrition system. She participated in developing menus, providing capacity building trainings to key stakeholders and creating nutrition education resources as part of the healthy lifestyle curriculum. In the Summer of 2023, she joined the American University of Armenia and co-taught the PH203 Human Nutrition and Health course with Dr. Kim Hekimian.
