
Aino Alaverdyan is a researcher at JAMK University of Applied Sciences, School of Health and Social Studies in Jyväskylä, Finland, and is a PHD student in the Doctoral Programme in Welfare, Health and Management at the University of Eastern Finland. She has 13 years of professional work experience and 7 years of teaching in public affairs, social services and their development and management. Her active participation in Horizon and European Social Fund -projects has focused on employment, integration, social and family policies, and digitalization of public services. Aino has edited four university publications and authored numerous professional articles, and has worked at UNICEF in Armenia on child and social protection development, as well as at national social development and youth NGOs in Finland.
