Sevag Agop, PhD.

Assistant Professor

Dr. Sevag Agop has served as an adjunct lecturer at the American University of Armenia since

  1. He has extensive experience in teaching mathematics and economics in Armenia, Italy,

and Syria. His main research interests are macroeconomic models that incorporate

microfoundations. He has developed DSGE models with financial frictions, and currently is

working on CGE models that can be implemented for policy analysis in Armenia.

Sunk Costs and Endogenous Firm Entry: Borrowing From Imperfect Banks.

New-Keynesian Philips curve with Bertrand competition and endogenous entry in a small open

economy (with Gayane Barseghyan).
