Liana Simonyan is a Program Coordinator for the BA in Politics and Governance program and a Teaching Associate in the Religion and Politics, International Relations, and Survey of Regional Politics courses at the American University of Armenia. She received her MA degree from the American University of Armenia in Political Science and International Affairs with a focus on Policy and Development. She also studied qualitative and quantitative research methodologies for one semester at Paris Lodron University of Salzburg, Austria. Prior to that, Liana worked for a consulting company as a research sub-manager specializing in tax and immigration research. Her research interests include policies, character affiliation, civic engagement, and civil society.
